Kailua Hawaii staged to sell!
JDS Consultings latest project on Oahu is a four bedroom two bath ranch home in the exclusive Enchanted Lake neighborhood of Kailua, Hawaii.

Livivng Room After
The home is being priced around one million and it includes a 17,000sqft lot, a pool and a one bedroom Ohana (family) guest cottage.

This is an occupied stage for a family of four with 3 dogs who were incredibly accommodating to our direction. We staged the entire home and landscaped the yard and pool area. We did not stage the Ohana as it was occupied.

The interiors were painted, with the hall being painted a dark brown, as well as, the kitchen cabinets and a light blue accent wall was added to the living room. The bedrooms were painted a neutral flesh tone.

WOW! so much to take in -- consider making about a dozen blogs representing all your thougjhts! (and work!)
You are a very talented person!
Nice work Kimo! I like your vignette pictures as well. Just the name makes me want to check it out - "Enchanted Lake".
I Love that dark chocolate color in the hallways (I want to eat it)....and hey, I recognize that ukulele =) Fabulous job, Kimo, Mahalo for sharing your beautiful part of the world.
Very nice work Kimo! I love your choice of master bedroom bedding and pillow colors.....very soothing and rich looking!!
Very Hawaiian and inviting but yet not over the top. Attactive and compelling. Nice work.
Kimo ~ You did an awesome job. Its very tropical just like it should be. Happy Staging!
Aloha
Kimo - Wow!! I loved all of the changes you made. Fantastic!!
Congratulations. Your post is being featured in the group; Staging Before & After Pictures.
Kathy
Kimo, you have done a wonderful staging job on this property. Do the sellers want to stay now?
Kimo, What a nice staging job. Love all the color choices. Congratulations!
Kimo-Great job. Looks so much more elegant. It's so funny how you can use all of the homeowners things, just declutter and clean and it looks like a different place. Great demonstration of how staging works!!!
Chrissie
Hi Kimo-
'You had me' from the moment I saw the redesigned open shelving in the living area. The clean lines of your staging adds the relaxing element that entices that buyer! Bravo!
Nicely done Kimo. I like the additions you made. Perhaps more significant are the clutter reductions. Really opens the house up nicely.
Kimo,
Great staging work as always! I like the "Hula Dancer" lamp that you used in the kitchen. I am curious to know if you service all of the islands of Hawaii and if so, do you include your travel expenses in your bids and how do you carry your inventory from island to island?
Beautiful job Kimo! I LOVE the credenza in the living room that the TV is sitting on. Is it part of your inventory or is it the homeowner's? Congratulations on an excellent job, I bet the homeowners were very happy.
It looks lovely, thanx. The only thing is that I wish the before and after pictures were the same angle, it is hard for my untrained eye to do the comparisons...lovely all the same, thanx
Aloha All, Thank you for your supportive comments!
Connie, Yes, the Uku'lele is a favorite accessory of mine.
Kathy N. Mahalo nui loa, for the feature!
Patty, The clients are very pleased with the transformation, I'm not sure if they want to stay but they definitely wished they had redesigned earlier.
Michelle, Thank you for your questions. We do consultation services anywhere in the world, as long as our clients have web access and are able to send and receive digital photos.
The outer islands are no exception but it does come down to cost effectiveness for our clients. As a general rule we don't physically stage homes on the outer islands under 1 million. Inventory, is outsourced locally and If the project is big enough (multiple units), we might use shipping containers as long as the price points are there. Inter-island travel might incur anywhere from $400 to $1000 (sometimes more) in additional fees billed to the client.
Charlene, All the furniture belongs to the client and I agree the credenza is beautiful. The 'honu' or sea turtle motif is charming.
Simply elegant. You really worked hard. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice, Kimo, very nice. There is so much nice to say about your photos. Your client has lovely furniture and accessories, but it took your magic to pull it all together. I hope you get a speedy sale.
Kimo, your featured post brought me in and I STAYED!
After perusing your work, I must say that your blogs are visually stimulating, informative, educational and well organized. Your photography is outstanding and your interests are quite varied.
I subscribed to your blog and I am now a fan. It would make me very happy if you would join us on the Optimist Group and post some of your fine work there!

Aloha Mirela, thank you for your compliments and comments. I'm very pleased that you found my posts worthy of re-bloging and I hope the information contained there can help your readership. Thank you for the invite to the Optimist Group and I'll do my best with the re-blog button. Mahalo nui loa.
Kimo-It is amazing what decluttering alone will do with a home, but you do a nice job of changing fixtures and furniture to make things that much better.
Aloha Pete, mahalo nui loa for your comment, I agree decluttering works wonders and updated fixtures don't hurt either.
Kimo, what a beautiful transformation. I especially like what you did in the family room. Gorgeous!
Aloha Michele, thank you. I think the livivng room and kitchen had the biggest transformation.
Kimo- Beautiful work as always. The kitchen goes on and on now with the changes. I love it :)
Aloha Wendy, in the initial proposal I suggested replacing the sliding door with french doors to open out on to the pool area which would have opened it up even more. Thanks for for your comment.
Hi Kimo, I love how inviting you made the house feel. The vignette in the kitchen and the view into the next room draws you in to thinking about livng there. I really like the chocolate brown wall as well. It entices you to travel down the hallway to see what magic lies beyond. Great marketing.
Really beautiful work. I particularly love the dining room centerpiece. Are they gingers?
Aloha Michelle, Thanks, the space desperately needed some color, all the rooms were originally white.
Aloha Melissa, mahalo. To answer your question yes, it's green awapuhi (ginger). You really can't tell their artificial until you squeeze them or smell them, even the texture feels real. Which reminds me Shanghai Tang makes a ginger room spray that is absolutely amazing. Perfect for open houses.
